Hi Everybody

Just one week out from the end of the school year !

It's that time of year again where the words from that great John Lennon song often come back again:

And so this is Christmas, and what have we done ?

There is a sense that in the ending, there is also a chance to contemplate new beginnings or, at the very least, a recycling of things which work well.  The trick then is to apply the learnings we have gained from the year past to the vision and hope we have for improvements ahead.

You'll notice that the LIPS blog and mailing list has a new look.  There's no real reason, just seemed to be worth a change and an update.  Same messages, just a slight change to the medium.

For those of you who will be on vacation, you might like to spend some time having a good browse through the many links on the blog from earlier posts and, why not make a comment or two, or add some ideas of your own, email some links.

There has been a number of new posts added to the blog since the last email to the list.  Use the link in the footer of this email to visit the blog now, or use the links at the right to navigate to the blog and other sites.

Even if you do none of the above, DO try to ensure that you have a happy and safe Christmas and a joyful time with family and friends.
