2022

It’s time to sort out all the blogs from a number of years. You can also follow progress over at the Acoustic Cafe.

Here’s the LIPS, (Leading in Public Schools), blog from 2004 to 2012

And for random thoughts across many years; cast like Pebbles in the Pool.

In response to a concern about how the binary nature of the internet could force issues and choices to become much more black and white, I began to promote the notion of the potential to be a Human Disruptive – a role in disrupting the binary processes.

Along the way there’s been some very special trips, starting with the invitation to present the opening keynote at the 2011 Colorado Technology in Education Conference at Copper Mountain in the Rockies. The keynote lasted for 2 hours and 15 mins to an audience of just under 800 teachers in a huge marquee at the foot of the main chair lift at the Copper Mountain Resort. As well as this, we travelled to Philadelphia to present at the ISTE (International Society for Technology Education) Conference followed by a week in New York. You can find out all about the 2011 trip here.

On return from ISTE 2011 it was time for a bi-lateral knee replacement: undertaken at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. You can read about Legs here

In 2012 ISTE was in San Diego. We also managed to get to San Francisco, Chicago and Boston. Check it out here.

2013 brought trips to London for BETT 2013 followed by a trip to Seattle, on to Niagara Falls via Toronto for a Canadian Educators’ Conference presentation and then to Virginia for a few days with a US District Superintendent in Charlottesville.
